- We provide a rent-free transporter (incl. 100 free kilometers) for 1 day for self-drivers. You only have to pay for insurance and gasoline.
- Tenants who prefer a convenience move will receive free 1-hour assistance from a moving and relocation service including a truck and 2 helpers (with a minimum booking of 3 hours).

We should protect the things we hold dear as best we can.
Therefore, we require our tenants to protect their stored goods against burglary, vandalism, fire and water damage as well as exposure to natural forces.
You can insure your goods independently and properly with your existing household or contents insurance (and provide a verification to us) or make use of the basic insurance provided by our cooperation partners Donauversicherung (Germany/Austria) and Helvetia (Switzerland).
The insurance premium for basic insurance (€ 6 or CHF 6 for a rental period of 4 weeks) covers a value of goods up to € 4,000/CHF 4,000. Of course, you can continue to add to this amount: For each € 1,000/CHF 1,000 of additional insured value, the premium increases by € 1.50/CHF 1.50.
Unit insurance covers damage caused by the following:
Damage caused by fire, lightning, explosion and the unavoidable consequences of these as well as the crash and impact of manned aircraft
Damage due to committed or attempted burglary
- Tap water
Damage caused by water leakage of supply and discharge lines of the water supply, hot-water supply or central heating systems (whereby the insured property – if located below street level – must be stored at least 12 cm above the floor)
Damage caused by storms, hail, snow pressure, rockfall or landslide
- Rain and snow
As an extension of the contractually agreed-upon storm coverage, damage to insured objects inside the building caused by rain, snow and melt water is included in the insurance – provided that the water has penetrated through the roof, gutters or exterior drain pipes.
Not insured are the following items:
- Gold, silver and jewelry

By prior arrangement, you can have shipments delivered to the address of the rental location – even in your absence, if you wish.

Temperature and humidity measurement
A good climate is important to us.
Rapid temperature changes, high humidity and frost are the mortal enemies of safe storage. Therefore, we continuously control and adapt the climate parameters of our sites.
You can access this measurement data on the respective website of the location. Temperature and humidity values for each floor can be checked on site.
Of course, your stored goods will not get wet even in the cold season: We continuously heat our buildings during the winter to ensure protection from frost and cold exposure.
